Golfer
Akshay Bhatia
had aspirations of becoming a professional player and winning tournaments.
Initially, he faced setbacks and struggled during his PGA Tour in 2019, but he used the pandemic as an opportunity to re-evaluate and upskill.
Despite initial failures, Akshay achieved his first Korn Ferry Tour title, becoming the third Indian-origin golfer to do so.
Akshay's passion for golf was inspired by his sister, Rhea Bhatia, who was also a golfer and achieved success in the sport.
He recently won his maiden Tour title at the Barracuda Championship, earning him full Tour status and a spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs.
