ISRO released images of the Vikram lander surveying potential landing sites.

The images reveal significant craters on the Moon's far side, captured by a camera aiding in the selection of a safe landing location, free of boulders or deep trenches.

Chandryaan-3's Lander Module established communication with the orbiter of Chandryaan-2 around the Moon.
