Social entrepreneurs Gopinath Parayil and Lakshmi Menon gave new direction to Kerala's handloom weavers with the handmade doll Chekutty

Weavers at Chendamangalam of Kerala's Ernakulam district had lost their livelihoods due to the 2018 floods.

Chekutty also known as Chendamangalam Kutty has been a ray of hope to nearly 600 weavers in the last 3 years.
