Adorned in Pallavi Mohan’s stylish and captivating SS23 attire, veteran Bollywood actress Neelam Kothari Soni’s involvement in the gala series of Child Rights and You (CRY) America proved to be immensely successful, amassing over US$1 million in funds. These contributions will provide transformative assistance to underprivileged children in both India and the US.

Neelam served as the esteemed celebrity guest at CRY America’s cross-country fundraising galas held in Seattle, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Houston. With her vibrant presence, the veteran actress spearheaded engaging pledge sessions during the event. The funds that were generated at the gala will contribute to supporting 40 on-going projects in India and the US, which are currently backed by the non-profit organization.

Neelam expressed, “I feel every child has the right to proper education, nutrition, and the right to make a choice of what they want to be in life. At the end of the day, you want your child to smile and be happy. That’s the reason I’m here.” With the theme ‘YOU put the ‘Y’ in CRY,’ the galas will celebrate and pay tribute to CRY America’s donors, volunteers, media partners, and supporters. CRY America CEO Shefali Sunderlal said, “Our donors ensured that thousands of children will have a better future with their generosity.”
CRY America is a non-profit organization located in the US, dedicated to offering assistance to projects that focus on providing education and healthcare opportunities to underprivileged children. Additionally, the organization strives to protect children from child labor, early marriage, and trafficking.
