Cricketer Virat Kohli, who has 199 million followers, tops the chart as the highest ranking Indian on the Hopper Instagram Rich List, bagging $680,000 (over ₹5 crore) for every promotional post on the photo-sharing social media platform.

While most micro-influencers who have 5K-10K followers make an average of ₹6,531 per post, while creators with 50,000 to 80,000 followers usually charge around ₹14,843 per post. As you move higher up the ladder, Indian influencers with 250,000 to 500,000 followers charge around ₹49,725 per post.

Indian influencers have taken over social media, and carving a niche for themselves. The top 10 influencers are - Jannat Zubair Rehmani, Avneet Kaur, Riyaz Aly, Arishfa Khan, Aashika Bhatia, Siddharth Nigam, Awez Darbar, Manav Chhabrar, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh.

With social media growing leaps and bounds, it is believed that around 107,456 Indian influencers followers between 1000 and 10 million.
