Burj Khalifa was illuminated with the colors of the Indian flag, marking the 77th Indian Independence Day.

The skyscraper also displayed a message: "Happy 77th Independence Day to Mother India."

A month earlier, on July 15, the Burj Khalifa was lit up in the colours of the Indian tricolour when PM Modi visited Abu Dhabi.
