Sundar Pichai: Early Life, Professional Journey, and Achievements

Sundar Pichai was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India on June 10, 1972, to parents Lakshmi and Regunatha Pichai.

He pursued his education at various institutions, including IIT Kharagpur, Stanford University, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Sundar Pichai is married to Anjali Pichai and they have two children. He is a devout Hindu.

He started his career as a materials engineer and later  joined Google in 2004, where he played a key role in the development of products like Google Chrome,  Gmail, and Google Maps.

Sundar Pichai became the CEO of Google in 2015 and then the CEO of Alphabet Inc. in 2019.

He has received various awards and recognitions, including being named in Time's list of the 100 most influential people and receiving the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award.

In 2023, Sundar Pichai commands an impressive base salary of $2 million annually, translating to a remarkable $166,666 per month. However, his compensation package reaches far beyond this already substantial figure.
