In a country like India, where people are obsessed with gold, the shift towards cryptocurrency is gradually taking place. Despite a proposed ban on crypto trading, Indians are embracing it wholeheartedly. Over the last year, investments in cryptocurrency have grown from $200 million to nearly $40 billion. It’s mostly the young Indians – the risk takers – between the age group of 18 to 35 – who are showing a major interest in cryptocurrency. It is believed that the simple process of buying crypto online is what is making many young Indians incline towards investing in it.
