The H1-B visa denial rates for India’s top IT companies dropped to the single digits in first six months of FY2021 independent research has shown. Legal challenges forced US lawmakers to reverse some of the immigration policies from the Trump era, leading to a dip in the denial rates as the country stepped up the number of applications it has been approving in the past year. In recent years, Indian IT companies that often place employees at client locations in the US had been reporting higher visa denial rates; but that seems to be changing now.
