More wealthy Indians are domiciling their families and businesses overseas, Business Standard reports. According to the Global Wealth Migration Review, 5,000 Indian millionaires moved abroad in 2020. Advisory firm Henley & Partners says it got a 63% increase in investment migration requests in 2020 as compared to the previous year. Some of the most sought-after residential visas are for countries such as the US, the UK, Portugal, Greece and islands in the Carribean. The reasons range from better investment opportunities, wealth preservation, lifestyle, and superior healthcare options, experts say.
