MacArthur Award-winning company, Mandala Arts won the 2023 Joyce Awards. It was founded by artist Pranita Nayar, offering South Asian dance, theatre, and musical arts training, aiming to promote positive social awareness, through creative expression.

Teenage poet stands by Transgender community
She started writing at nine, and at 16, she published her collection of poetry, Clash with Reason which has drawn celebrity support. The teenager has pledged the entire proceeds from the book to the Mitr Trust, to support transgender community members.
Batting for the Earth
From Odisha's Kharia Tribe, she is creating awareness on climate change, documentation, preservation and promotion of the traditional knowledge and practices of indigenous communities. She's selected as the member of Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change.
