KP Adhithi, a classical dancer She was hardly four years old when she first felt the ghunghroo in her hands. At 13, Bharatanatayam exponent KP Adhithi, was bestowed with the Promising Young Performer Award at Bharat Nrithya Utsav. In 2020, she was also selected as one of the 12 most talented children across the world in the 8-12 age group.
Rooted in Indian culture
The dancer from New Albany was one of the 60 talented high school seniors and budding artists who were honored with the US Presidential Scholars Program. She attained outstanding prowess in five different dance forms including classical Indian dance.
