IIT-Madras incubated electric vehicle sub-component manufacturing startup, Revoh Innovations raised $150,000 in seed funding. It is setting up a standalone manufacturing unit in SIPCOT with the funds. R&D division will remain at IIT-M research park.

The brain development kit, Seekh, is for kids aged 0-3, and focuses on different cognitive potentials.
Making use of plastic waste
Pune-based startup Ashaya, founded by Anish Malpani has created the world's first pair of recycled sunglasses, made from discarded packets of chips. Anish aims to decrease the menace of plastic waste with other such innovations in future.
